Today's 3" x 5" artwork was made will all commercial fabric and it's hand stitched with Valdani Threads Pearl Cotton #10 Lemon. The horizontal fabric is wool scraps. It was tough to stitch through it so, I couched around each piece instead. The diagonal fabric is some sort of shiny polyester fabric that wasn't forgiving at all. This piece is a good sample to see how each fabric would take hand stitching for future reference.

This is very artfully designed and your choice to couch the wool fabrics was brilliant. Even though the polyester was "unforgiving" your stitching really establishes great diagonal movement.
