Low Pressure Collages Part 6

These collages were created in a 7"x10" sketchbook that I'm hoping to finish this year. I don't overthink the process of creating these daily collages. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs.

Low Pressure Collages Part 4

I'm continuing to create low-pressure, evening collages using leftover scraps. These were created one per day. I don't overthink the process. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs. These collages were created in a 7"x10" sketchbook.

Low Pressure Collages Part 3

A few more low-pressure, evening collages using leftover scraps. These were created one per day this time. I don't overthink the process. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs. These collages were created in a smaller sketchbook.

3 Altered Sketchbooks: How to prep books & magazines

In this video, I’m sharing my process for altering books and magazines into sketchbooks. I’ll be prepping a children’s board book, a hardcover book, and a magazine. The magazine process is a bit more complex than the others, so please let me know in the comments if you need any clarification. I'll show how I work in each one in my next video. Thanks for watching!

Low Pressure Collages Part 2

More low-pressure, evening collages using leftover scraps. I don't overthink the process. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs. These collages were created in a larger sketchbook than last time, so each one took no more than 10 minutes.

Chill Collaging Session (Music Only)

In this video, I'm working on a geometric collage using monoprinted and painted papers along with a brown envelope. It's music only because I wanted to create while not feeling 100%. Thanks for watching!

Low Pressure Collages Part 1

The other night, I was tired but wanted to create art. My go-to low pressure way to create when I'm tired is to pull random paper scraps then quickly glue them onto a sketchbook page. I don't overthink the process. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs. These are the collage sketches from that night's art session. Each one created in about 5 minutes.
