Low Pressure Collages Part 1

The other night, I was tired but wanted to create art. My go-to low pressure way to create when I'm tired is to pull random paper scraps then quickly glue them onto a sketchbook page. I don't overthink the process. This helps to satisfy the create itch along with discovering different color combinations and designs. These are the collage sketches from that night's art session. Each one created in about 5 minutes.

New (very rough) "Abstract People" sketch

I'm continuing to work on my "Abstract People" series. This is the latest (very rough) first sketch of a design idea using coin wrappers. Remember those? I flatten the coin wrappers as is then glued to the sketchbook page. I thought it would provide a good textural surface. Next time, I will cut each wrapper so they will lay flat. This is why I encourage others to have a sketchbook practice. You can try different configurations of the same design.
