Photo(s) Friday

Here is this week's Instagram Photo Layout from my neighborhood walks. I was focus on enjoying my daily walks then taking photos except for one day. I kept noticing the amazing textures in nature and what nature does to man made structures. To follow me on Instagram, please click on this link: https://www.instagram.com/mia_bloom/.

I really enjoy posting on Instagram. You can find me on Instagram by clicking on this link: https://www.instagram.com/mia_bloom/. I can post a photo or more and add a few hashtags and that's it. It's especially easy on my neighborhood walks. I have been playing around with the different layouts. Here are my morning/neighborhood walks' photos from this past week.

A bit of maneuvering to get the right angle so the reading boy looks like he is sitting on the bench.

The Cherry Trees are in bloom! If you're near Los Angeles, make a trip to The Huntington Library see the spectacular Cherry Trees and other beautiful, blooming plants. This Cherry Tree caught my eye in the parking lot.

Looking up into the tree gave me a feeling of being engulfed in bright pink blossoms!

One of my favorite places in Southern California is Brand Library & Art Gallery
in Glendale. Besides being one of the best art libraries and gallery, it has an amazing foliage. Numerous photo opportunities!

Photo Friday

On my walks I tend to look in all directions (mostly down). At times I come upon interesting, fun, out of the ordinary objects. This ceramic frog is on the patch of ground on the next to the sidewalk. It was partially hidden but it did catch my eye. I do admit I had to do a double take to make sure it wasn't real. It was the only one I could find on the property.

I continue to find art while looking down when I walk. Sidewalk art.

These next photos were taken in front of a home. I can only imagine that a very talented person lives there. Too bad some of the chalk portraits were fainted. Luckily, I was able to capture one new portrait that shows more detail.

On my walks through my neighborhood, I have passed by this wooden carved sculpture for many years. It's attached to a low brick wall surrounded by bushes in front of a house. The residents of this house have never been outside when I've been walking by so I haven't been able to ask them about it. I appreciate it even though I have no idea what is represents.

I'm fascinated with anything that's rusted and weathered. These signs posted at different locations around my neighborhood caught my eye.
