 Another 4"x6" collage created on a busy ground. It's a great way to challenge myself so I don't get lazy and create with the same color combinations and composition structures.

Short Collage Process Video

4"x6" collage. I created the ground for this collage a few weeks ago. I wanted to challenge myself to create a collage on top of a busy ground in a color combination that is uncomfortable for me. It took me awhile to figure out what collage papers to use.

New collage art journal (4"x6") and new collages

I decided to add another collage art journal to my stash. This one is 4"x6" bound with Coptic stitch with orange thread. The inside and outside is covered with paper that I monoprinted. It's nice to have art journals in different sizes. There are times that a smaller art journal is more manageable to create in than the 7"x9.5" art journal.

 

 Here are the first collages I made in this art journal.
