Beyond the Edge Fiber Artists

I'm excited to announce that my artwork including 3D pieces will be in another Beyond the Edge Fiber Artists' art show about to begin entitled "Expression in Fiber Art". This exhibit will be at the Center Gallery in Anaheim, CA. There's an artist reception on Friday, May 5th from 5:00 to 6:30 pm. Unfortunately, I won't be able to attend the reception due to my work schedule. Details can be seen on the flyer below.

6"x10" collage #04062017

I'm continuing to explore 6"x10" collages in-between working on fiber projects. To learn more about this series, please click here.

With collage #04062017, I incorporated magazine pages that had grey ombres and subtle patterns. Some of the papers were cut with a scissor and others were torn by hand. I like how the contrast of straight edges played against the torn edges. I'm happy with the way this collage turned out.
